Bio

Solveig Bergersen is a Norwegian Soprano based in Sweden.
In June 2023 Solveig graduated from Stockholm University of the Arts Opera program, and performed the role of La Fée in «Cendrillon» by Massenet as her examination at Folkoperan in Stockholm. Former studies were conducted at the Norwegian Academy of Music, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Classical Performance in 2020.
Solveig made her internship and debut at the Royal Swedish Opera as Papagena in «Die Zauberflöte» in the fall season of 2022. She sang Amore in traveling summer shows of «Orfeus and Eurydice» by Gluck in the summer the same year.
In the fall of 2023 she had the pleasure of returning to the role of Papagena with Orkester Nord conducted by Martin Wåhlberg in Clermont-Ferrand, France. In December she performed the soprano solo in «Weihnachtsoratorium» by Bach, in Kristiansand Dome with the Kristiansand Philharmonic Orchestra.
In March of 2024 she sang the Soprano solo in Carmina Burana by Carl Orff in Stavanger Concert House conducted by Bjarte Engeset.
This year she also took on another role in the beloved Zauberflöte, and performed Pamina at Strömstadoperan at the end of May.
She is an experienced concert singer, with works such as «Requiem» by both Mozart and Fauré and Mozart's «Exsultate Jubilate» on the repertoire.
The release of «Die Zauberflöte», recorded in France in 2023 and recently released by the French publisher Apaté, received praise in Pizzicato.lu's review: “(...) Solveig Bergersen is a delightful Papagena.”
As of March 2025 Solveig has joined the roster of Stellis Polaris Management. There are fun things ahead, amongst them the Ada Sari-competition in Poland in May 2025 and exciting work at Folkoperan in 2026.
